Everyone, David, SUP Customs. Just giving another little tutorial about why we use these boards. We've been doing this a lot lately. It's been helping people. And I don't want to take for granted a lot of guys are customers in Texas and Florida and understand the the skinny water life and getting in roadside or getting in, you know, hidden lakes or different stuff, but we've been sending a lot of stuff up north, Massachusetts, Virginia and you know, things like that and and don't know your area, so forgive me, but this is our area right here.
I'm still 2 hours away from low tide. We're in the middle of getting back to fish a a low low tide where all the fish that are usually out here in the flat eating crabs, doing everything are now going to be trapped in some holes in the back. So, we're going to get to them, but I don't take our family skiff out here doing these situations. I'm a member of a boat club as well. I'm not going to be paying my deductible on those. But, you can see behind me here. See a good look at them. These are all rocks and I don't know I'm I'm about the overall holes are probably 4 in and then the rocks get up to about 2 in.
Two some will be surfacing pretty soon. Here's a little better example of what I'm talking about. This is all limestone and and rocks here. So, I don't know. I hope you can see that rock right there and how it is just just skinny. And what's amazing about this, I can still plane over this. So, I'm about to ease out a little bit in the middle of here and punch it. And I'm going to hit a creek mouth up there that holds about 8 ft of water from for So, from this to 8 ft to where I'm hoping some red fish are sitting in some drum trout, snook along the edges.
And then after that, we're going to start making our way back to some of those holes with that that in springs that we were talking about. So, this is just a little So, some details about what we do cuz people say just buy a boat. People say canoe or you know, stuff like that. And unless I had this catamaran catching all that water that's above the whole line and our prop is almost above the whole line, I'm not going to sink a what 3 in 4 in prop underneath the whole line in this. So, you're not getting there. So, now this is about a zero tide, but 10 in less, all of this is land for hours.
And that's when we put in roadside cuz they're just you're not even air boating over oyster beds. So, those guys take the grass trails. I hope that helps. If you're not into low tide fishing, this type of fishing, maybe you get one of these to to get into it cuz once you get back there, they're all trapped and you absolutely slay them. Take it easy.
