Everyone, David here, SUP Customs, finishing up an awesome week in the Bahamas on a live trip. Giving a couple shout-outs to some of the gear we brought down here that has made it just incredible. It's blowing what, 30? Today. We had great weather all week, but today is ripping. Did okay, we got some bonefish, tarpon, biggest barracuda I've ever caught. We're still not done. We're just going to go fish out of the wind, but it is blowing. You can see behind we're kind of using some of the mangroves right here, but the tree you got I'll just point over there and look at that tree.
It is just It is just ripping through. Thank god we have a catamaran paddle board that we can still get through and paddle through. Our hats are about to blow off. It's just crazy. But a couple I thought about sitting down in these conditions and we and going over what still helped us get the job done today. One, Hella Dry. I mean, look. It is just It is just not I mean, I just I want to clean it off. I got so much mud from this anchor. It's hitting the Hella Dry bag. Filthy. Use it all week long. Just tore up the fish.
All my flies in it. It is just absolutely crazy. Got the All my flies, my cutters up here. Everything's staying dry. Here, I'm international. Last thing I want to do is lose my phone. I got it back in the back pocket in here. Kept it safe the whole time. I got my glasses cleaner. Got everything. I got a little extra spare water. I got granola bars. I got everything and this thing has just taken a beating. I don't use the shoulder strap when we were wading out in the ocean. I just put it on my hip right there. Fly fished, put my Gatorade in here.
Incredible. Toadfish reels been good to me. Caught a 35-in snook on it and I don't know, 20 25-lb bear cuda today. Now, I'm telling you, we would not been able to catch any fish on fly today without the Superfly composites on fly mat. I mean, our we would strip you know, without it, our line would be just gone. And then, of course, the LIVE Water Sports paddle board. There's no way we would be able to fight this wind going back without very, very, very little water tension. And that's why SUP Customs, we only sell the LIVE board, and then we deck it out, customize it.
It would have been nice to be motorized today, but you can only do so much overseas. It's just nice to know you can still get the job done with a paddle.
