David Explains His Story with LIVE Watersports & the Creation of SUP Customs.
What I cover in this video
- We were delivering boards to Miami, Coral Gables and around the state, so in Jupiter we put in and hit the Gulf Stream.
- A gentleman in Navarre runs three miles off the beach to a reef for red snapper, and we just shipped a board to Hawaii.
- These paddle boards are not boats and they don't replace boats. I've got a Freedom Boat Club a mile from here.
- I sold three boats after getting these. In the winter back country they outfished everything I had.
- With five kids, a farm, 12 horses, donkeys and cows, a family boat day isn't a me day. On these I don't see a boat for eight or nine hours.

Hey everyone, David, SUP Customs. We're here in Jupiter, Florida, and we have some boards that been — we were delivering all over the state, and Miami and Coral Gables and different places. So while we're down here, I thought we would do something a little different, something we're not used to. Well, our family have done it, but we're not used to on the boards. I figured we'd put in and hit the Gulf Stream out of Jupiter. So I've got a little inspired by a gentleman in Navar, Florida, in the Panhandle, going three miles off Navar Beach to a reef and slamming some red
snapper. And we just shipped AB board to Hawaii, so you're going to, about to see some, some tuna, different stuff on a board. So this is for them, this is for those guys, for the Kens of the world. Just a heads up: I really don't — maybe this is the first time I'm ever mentioning it — these paddle boards are not boats, they don't replace boats. I'm actually a, a member of a Freedom Boat Club in Tampa Bay. I have 30 locations or so. I, I have a Freedom Boat Club a mile from here that I could have took a 25 footer out if I wanted to. These don't replace boats. But there's
a huge ocean there, a very big ocean, there's a lot of fresh water, that every guy that calls me just talks about how they can throw this on, on the roof or tailgate, and hit waters that they've never fished before. So these things are an addition, just, just a heads up there. U, but this catamaran runs like a skiff, it's crazy stable, and you can do a little bit more. So we just love the SUP life, it's what we do. I had the boat club for pontoons and family days and offshore fishing out of the Nature Coast, and doing all that. But I actually sold
three boats after getting these, just for, for winter, and they out fished everything that I had in the back country. So I went LIVE Water Sports boards with SUP Customs skiff builds, and I've been tearing up the negative tides and back country ever since. So we put in here, have our Suspenz Dolly. Whit's tackle, check them out in Jupiter, awesome dude, set us up with some lures. We're going to go TR — let's see if we can get some tuna, let's see if we can get some mahi or kingfish, I don't know. But this is how you know these micro skiffs, Port the
portability of it. This is, this is how you can live with these things. You can put them and on your roof, or your truck bed, or a little trailer, and you can cover the coast, and you can pick your days. So even if it's blowing 15 or 20, and you — I was going to go here, you know what, I could actually not have to cancel my plans that day, and I can just go two miles back country and get away from the wind. So there's a lot of things you can do as you're traveling, as you're at home. And for me personally, they become, with five kids and a farm and 12
horses and donkeys and cows — for me, being on a boat a lot of times, I love with my family, love your family, but for me I'm always managing the trolling motors, I'm letting the kids cast, I'm baiting hooks, I'm retiring all day. And I'm having fun, but it's not a me day. I get on these, I can be selfish, it's my day. I don't see a boat for 8 n hours sometimes in the back country. So anyways, let us know if you have any questions. I hope this gave you guys and future customers some ideas of what you can do with these. We're going to get going,
hopefully we catch some, some fish. If we do, you'll see them on the page after this. Take it easy.
