What I cover in this video

  • People hear Tampa Bay and picture beaches and bridges. I'm the Nature Coast — horse country, 30 minutes from the springs and manatees.
  • We're not influencers and we're not sponsored. We're the father and son who saw the catamaran design and DIY'd plates for years.
  • An $80 tailgate extender and it goes on the roof or the back of a car. The LX is 50 lb, the L2 is 55, the L4 is 65.
  • The flat deck is why they stack — boards, coolers, engines, and nothing rolls off. Eight feet of marine mat, 14 with our plates.
  • People don't realize the airboat coating gets you about 20% more speed. It's not just protection — even paddling gets easier.

Everyone, David, SUP Customs, here at our favorite hardware store. So, we're getting supplies to paint the bottom of boards. We live up in the country. We live up in Central Florida, a small town. We got horses. Everyone got horses around here. But LIVE Watersports is in Clearwater, so they got all the beaches. So, it's kind of a really cool a relationship there between beaches, tourism, and and horse country. So, I'm I People When I say Tampa Bay, people think we're running along the beaches and different bridges and stuff.

No, I'm the Nature Coast. I'm middle of nowhere back country living in the country here 30 minutes from my fishing grounds that I love so much around all the springs and all the manatees and all that kind of stuff on the Nature Coast. YouTube series. It This is what we're doing. We're not influencers. We're not sponsored. We are the father-son that saw the Cad Maran design, fig- said, "Hey, what can we do with these things?" DIY'd plates for years. Couldn't run skinny, couldn't get on plane, but the stability and everything about these boards did the job for us.

And then became the engineers and and manufacturers of the actual skiff parts that turned these Live boards into functional, amazing, I mean, nothing like it skiffs. So, that's who we are. This is what the YouTube series is about. It's boring. I ramble because again, we're not trying to be whatever. We're really trying to answer these call questions to all these calls we get about this and that and and I can just send them a YouTube link. Well, check it out. So, this is transportation here. You'll see an $80 tailgate extender.

These can go on the roo- the roof. These can go on the back of a car and just slide it up on your roof. They only weigh, you know, 50 lb for the LX here, the L2 55 lb, then the L4 65-lb. So, you're not like trying to do something awkward even when you put it on the back of your car with some foam, it lays flat. So, when you push it, it's not rolling on you. It's light. They can stack. So, what I like that about the flat deck because you can stack them on top, you can stack your coolers, you can stack your engine. You know, things aren't rolling off.

I like the flat surface, too, for me because I hate to be claustrophobic on the water. To be trapped, to be low. I want to stand, I want to move, which is what attracted me to this deck in the first place. So, 8 ft of comfortable marine mat. On top of that, you add our plates. Now, you got 14 ft of padding. You got 12 tracks, plastic or aluminum. So, make it yours. And then obviously, because it's handmade in the US and is fiberglass and gel-coated, we can do the airboat coating. So, now you can run over, you know, oyster beds without damaging your hole.

You just touch it up over time. We got the keel guards on front, so you can just slam into an oyster bed or something and you're not you're not damaging your your hole of of your of your fiberglass skiff. So, little bit about transportation here, little bit about the deck. They can be flipped either way. And this is a customer board that didn't buy this LX from us, but sent it to us to coat it, the bottom. You can see all the scratches he's gotten. So, all he'll do is he dropped it off. We'll We'll coat the bottom for him.

I don't know if you can see all these scratches he got, which shows you how thick Live does their their their gel and everything. But we'll go ahead and paint this for him and and get him back going in Jacksonville so he can hit some more oyster beds and some more grass at those flood tides and stuff. So, if you have any questions, please reach out. I hope this answered a little bit about transportation, how easy they are to to to move around with and and what you can do with them. SUP Customs.com, give us a call for a quote a build.

You don't have to go all out or you can. I mean, you know if you know if you've been attracted to some of these, you probably know what you want. But if not, call me. I'll ask you about your waters, your city, what you what you're aiming for and I'll and I'll set you up with a perfect build on top of this LIVE Watersports board that really really fits your needs. Even the airboat coating, people don't realize you get 20% more speed with this airboat coating. Meaning even paddling is easier to paddle. So, it's just not protection.

So, we'll go over all that together and and get you set up. Take it easy.
